Through the eyes of the rater, a LEED mid construction multifamily tour
In this session, we show you a mid-construction multifamily walkthrough, through the eyes of the Green & Energy Star rater. Getting a perspective on the green rater’s job shows the value they add to ensure buildings are energy efficient, healthy and durable as well as gives you a sense on how to prepare your subs to succeed. We get behind the drywall to show you areas that can be improved for occupant health and comfort as well discuss offsite wall prefabrication benefits, protection of HVAC during construction and ways to train your trades to better. 2) Articulate the basics of how an insulation installation is done in buildings and how it contributes to LEED BD+C v4 Minimum Energy Performance

4) Value and understand the benefits of a 3rd party Green Rater completing construction site visits
